This article introduces an intelligent type track circuit with new wheel testing technology to count train wheels. This kind of track circuit is equipped with the function of determining train operation direction and speed, so it can be applied in each kind of normal and abnormal shunting operation. Calculation of trains on station track is accurate to wheels. Based on accurate and reliable fundamental condition and data resource for freight transport management automation, track circuit intellectualization has truly been realized.
