FTGS track circuit is used to design track-clear indication system for long-distance rail- way, subway, municipal and regional railways. It can monitor the position of trains in the line and transmit ATP messages. Starting from the principle the FTGS track circuit and combined with the experience of fault handling in operation, FTGS common failures are analyzed and solu- tions are given.
