This paper introduces a signal source with high resolution and high stability designed by direct digital frequency synthesis（DDS）device,CPLD and microcontroller technology,and mainly introduces the frequency measurement circuit based by CPLD and s frequency measurement circuit overcome the traditional frequency measurement system based on microcontroller whose frequency measurement speed is slow,cannot satisfy the high speed,high precision,high can realize a wide range of frequency measurement,is an important component of the DDS signal source.
