The paper put forward a design plan of control system for range hood based on the low- power MCU MSP430F2121. The control system design scheme is given in the paper. It is used to re- alize the control function for range hood. The hard- ware system consists of main control board, sensor circuit board, keyboard, display board and other parts. The I/O pin multiplexing technology,sensor technology, keyboard scanning technology and power protection technology are used in the system to improve the cost performance and functionality of system effectively. The design plan is reasona- ble, and the function of wind speed control and the status conversion is realized.
