555 timer is a kind of medium-scale integrated circuits,it can be widely used in pulse generating,shaping,timing and delay circuit flexibly and conveniently.Using a repeatable triggered single state flip-flop formed by it,can easily get a longer duration of output pulse width.This paper introduces the circuit component and working principle of repeatable triggered single state flip-flop composed of 555 timer,discusses its applications in detection circuits through a example of heart rate monitor circuit,indicates that we can get many practical circuits in the actual production,as long as its various functions to be integrated applications.
