Temperature detection is a function that chips and systems usually need,and temperature detection circuit is widely applied.After analyzing the principle of generation of PTAT(proportional to absolute temperature) voltage in detail,a temperature detection circuit employing bipolar process is designed based on this principle in this paper,whose proposed output voltage is proportional to temperature.The circuit is simulated with cadence spectre simulation tool,the result indicate that the circuit operates normally in the temperature range from-40℃ to 120℃,in which the output detection voltage is precisely proportional to temperature,the offset is only 0.01V.
