This paper analyzes the main role of the reader in the RFID system and reader hardware structure,and presents a chip reader hardware design scheme based on the AS3992.The reader has an operating frequency range of 860MHz-960MHz which is adjustable and in line with mainstream standards ISO18000-6C,which can complete all the read and write and control operations according to an electronic tag line EPC Gen2 standard.
