MIPI-display serial interface defines protocols between a host processor and peripheral devices that adhere to MIPI alliance specifications for mobile device interfaces.A conceptual view of DSI organizes the interface into 4 functional layers:PHY layer,lane management layer,low level protocol layer and application layer.This article introduces how to realize the MIPI-DSI in AMOLED driver IC and discuss the design difficulty.
