In the teaching of integrated circuit specialty, experimental teaching is an important way to train students’ engineering practice ability and develop innovative thinking. This paper takes the experiment of “Design of full custom four-bit Subtractor circuit” as an example to describe the existing problems of experiment teaching for applied talents. It also explores the experimental contents, experimental methods and other aspects to carry out multi-level “progressive” experimental teaching so as to improve the important function of the subjective initiative of students as well as the ability to analyze and solve problems, which is more helpful to the training of applied talents.
