The braking system is an important part of the EMU, and its normal working is a prerequisite for safe driving. In this paper, the common brake of 2-type EMU is considered as the study object, the circuit control under three cases with the implementation of service brake are analyzed in detail, and the energized situation of each control relay in brake circuit and the generation and transmission process of braking command are explained.
