The design of the driving circuit of a piezoelectric transducer is the difficulty for the measurement system. The driving circuits presently adopted in China have low efficiency and measurement accuracy. In this study, a single pole driving circuit for a high - power piezoelectric transducer was developed. A pulse transformer is used to fulfill the impedance matching and voltage resonance. With simple form and easy operation, the driving circuit has high efficiency.
