双极结型晶体管 (BJT) 的集电极与发射极之间的雪崩击穿具有快导通、 快恢复、 高稳定性等优点,适合作为小型 Marx 脉冲功率发生系统自击穿开关.将相同级数的单层 Marx 发生器和双层 Marx 发生器进行了对比,得出相同级数的双极性Marx发生器输出电压的峰值更高,更加稳定;在倍压的情况下,将不同输出负载的放电脉冲进行了对比,得出以8个BJT串联作为负载,更可获得 10 ns 左右脉宽的窄脉冲.

Because avalanche breakdown between collector and emitter of bipolar junction transistor (BJT) has advantages of fast turn-on, fast recovery, high stability, and so on, it is suitable to be used as self breakdown switch of small Marx pulse power generation system. By comparing double Marx generator and Marx generator in the same series of single peak, it’s reached that the same series of bipolar Marx generator output voltage is higher and more stable; in times of pressure situation, pulse discharge with different output load is compared, and a load as to 8 BJT series, can get a narrow pulse with width of 10 ns or so.
