MAX2003A is a core control chip of Cd-ni,Ni-mh batteries fast charger circuit.The chip is integrated by logic control and detection functions needed by the optimum charging and discharging of Cd-ni and Ni-mh batteries.The paper introduces and analyzes the principle and application of the high-speed charger control chip MAX2003A.Based on it,a simple and practical Cd-ni,Ni-mh high-speed charger circuit with stability and reliability is designed and MAX2003A chip is the core of the circuit.This paper also gives an example to illustrate the design method and control principle of Cd-ni and Ni-mh high-speed charger circuit which is designed by applying MAX2003A control chip.
