The characteristics and the using method of battery management chip LTC6802-2 of series battery pack were introduced. The controller was 51SCM and TMS320LF2407. The problem in hardware design and software design should be noted from the communication point of view. The voltage detection of series battery pack with LTC6802-2 was achieved. The effectiveness of this method through the analysis of experimental data was verified.
