The topology of the main circuit of several high voltage inverter is analyzed simply. The main circuit structure of IGBT direct series high voltage inverter and three key core technologies such as direct series technology, sine wave technology, and anti-common mode voltage technology of high-speed power devices are emphatically introduced. The performance of several high voltage converters is compared in detail. This paper analyzes the running conditions and existing problems before the revamp of the 75 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler fan, and introduces the working principle and main technical characteristics of the direct series 6 kV high voltage frequency converter speed regulating system of IGBT. The IGBT direct high voltage inverter was successfully applied to the boiler fan motor. It not only achieves the purpose of saving energy and reducing emissions, improving the level of automation operation control, but also reduces the equipment maintenance workload and failure rate, improves the system operation status, and has obvious transformation effects. It introduces the application of the IGBT high voltage inverter on the slag pump. This case is worth promoting and applying.
