一种传输实时USB音频的串行接口引擎设计

资料介绍

传统的USB音频设备大多包含价格较高MCU,为有效降低成本,提出了替代MCU的方案及一种新型串行接口引擎和设计方法。基于有限状态机理论,提取出实现数据流功能的状态机,并通过该有限状态机控制串行接口引擎来处理实时音频数据。设计经Verilog HDL编程实现,并通过Altera公司的cyclone2 EP2C35芯片硬件验证。实测结果表明,该设计可实时传输高速USB音频数据,电路实现简单,具有良好的通用性和可移植性。

Costly MCU is a conventional choice for USB audio device. A new serial interface engine instead of MCU are proposed for efficiently reducing the cost. This design method is based on the FSM (Finite State Machine) theory,The FSM is realized to control the serial interface engine which can process the real-time audio data. The circuit realized in Verilog HDL has been verified by cyclone2 EP2C35 of Altera. The measurement results show that this design is a feasible choice for real-time and high speed USB audio data transmission, with simple circuit but fine universality and transportability.
