This paper introduced some basic concepts and analysis methods of TL431 in feedback loop of switching power supply. The article analyzed TL431 feedback circuit from the static characteristics, dynamic characteristics and control theory. By using the small signal transfer function of switching power circuit, the dynamic compensation design of TL431 feedback loop is then designed and simulated as an example. The phase margin design appropriate to ensure the stability of the switching power supply.
