本文利用软硬件协同设计思想对密码系统进行了软硬件划分后,提出了一种适用于椭圆曲线密码SoC的SM2硬件IP架构,该IP实现了素数域下SM2的点乘以及模运算功能,利用129位宽的乘法器、搭配快速模约减在6个周期下完成模乘运算,从而提高点乘的运算性能。本文设计的IP在单位面积达到优异性能,从面积成本以及速度方面综合考虑,本设计提出的架构更适合应用于SoC芯片。

In this paper,the hardware and software partitioning of the cryptosystem is carried out by the hardware/software co-design.A SM2 hardware IP architecture suitable for elliptic curve cryptography SoC is proposed.This IP realizes the point multiplication and modular operation of SM2 in the prime domain.The 129-bit wide multiplier,combined with the fast modular reduction,completes the modular multiplication operation in 6 cycles,thus improves the performance of the point multiplication.The IP designed in this paper achieves excellent performance per unit area. In terms of area cost and speed,the architecture proposed in the design is more suitable for SoC chips.
