This paper introduces the application of Non-polar RS485 chip and the whole module of the driver. It puts forward the overall design method of Non-polar RS485 chip driver and the protection measures of Non-polar RS485 chip A and B port. The problems of leakage and damage of MOS tube caused by common mode voltage of A and B ports and excessive short circuit current are solved ,when Non-polar RS485 chip is applied.
