In order to analyze the key factors which affect the performance of carrier cancellation circuit accurately, the PLL theory was used to analyze and optimize the key parameters of the carrier cancellation circuit model, and two models of RF carrier cancellation and baseband DC cancellation were established based on Simulink in the paper. Then, the key performances of the two circuits were compared by simulation. The simulation results show that com- pared with the DC cancellation system, the radio frequency orthogonal carrier cancellation system improves the carrier suppression performance of the circuit significantly, and the suppression effect relates to the autocorrelation of phase noise directly.
