Multi approaches to solve an exercise have been presented in this paper, which requires calculating the equivalent inductance of infinite parallel coupling branches. Some of the approaches are summarized from the home- work of the students. Because of its characteristics of abstraction and interest, this exercise can help students to im- prove learning activities, know about the meaning of equivalent inductance deeply, test and improve the thinking capacity, and also can give some references to the teachers.
