一种宽输入降压稳压电路的研究与设计

文章提出了一种用于大功率LED驱动芯片的宽输入电压范围降压稳压电路,由预降压电路、带隙基准电压电路和线性稳压电路组成,最高输入电压可达40V。采用CSMC0.5μm BCD工艺模型进行仿真验证。仿真结果表明:在负载电流为5mA,输入电压为6~40V时,不同工艺角下带隙基准电压和稳压输出的平均值分别为1.2064V和5.0121V,最大变化量分别为0.9mV和12.3mV。输入电压为40V,负载电流为1-100mA时,输出电压变化量约为3.3mV。在低频下稳压电路的电源抑制比大于112dB。

A step-down regulator with wide input voltage was proposed, which was used for power LED driver. This circuit consisted of pre-regulator, bandgap voltage reference and linear regulator, and the maximum input voltage could reach 40 V. The circuit was simulated based on CSMC 0.5μ~m BCD process model. The results showed that under different process corner, when the load current was 5 mA and the input voltage changed from 6 V to 40 V, the average value of the output voltage of bandgap voltage reference and step-down regulator were 1. 206 4 V and 5.012 1 V, and the biggest variation were about 0.9 mV and 12.3 mV.
