There are several methods to design the RF circuits of spectrum analyzer. These methods have dif- ferent complexity and different obtained performance. The method described in this article agrees with the sim- ulation results and achieves good performance. Using this method, products can be easily manufactured with high performance to cost ratio. In this article, the design methods of main circuits such as RF front regulation, wide band first local oscillator （ LO）, first high intermediate frequency （IF） and tracking generator are dis-cussed in detail.
