An active crossover applied in the modern sound amplifier equipment and active sound system is capable to improve the quality of the equipment, also save the cost for the expensive large value capacitor and inductance coil. The requirements of the crossover parameters are raised in this article firstly, the tolerance value of the group time delay involved with the circuit distortion also is introduced. At last, some active filter circuits and features for 2 - way, 3 - way crossover are discussed.
