资料介绍

这是一种用于驱动芯片的图像数据压缩处理技术。该压缩技术能够使像素的压缩比例达到约61%,从而大大地减小了驱动芯片内嵌入的GRAM(图像存储器)的面积。同时在具体实现时,通过GRAM的布局的改进和GRAM控制器的功能的改进,大幅减少了GRAM控制器和GRAM之间的接口数目,拓宽了布线通道,实现了三层金属布线,在不增大芯片面积的前提下,使所用的金属减少一层,达到了降低了成本的目的。由于接口数目的减少,改进后的方案还增强了长走线的抗干扰能力,提高了传输信号的质量。

The paper introduces the image compression technology for TFT-LCD image compression technology make the pixel compression ratio reach to 61%,this dramatically decrease the embedded GRAM area in TFT-LCD nwhile,By improving the GRAM floor plan and GRAM controller function during realization,the interface number between GRAM and GRAM controller is dramatically decreased,the routing space is widen,three metals routing is metal layers is decreased from 4 to 3,realize the for the interface number decrease,the long signals cross-talk issue is minimized,and the signals transfer quality is also improved.
