The mastering of electromagnetic fields is one of the cornerstones of modern civilization. Imagine how life would be without clectricity, from the time you get out of bed in the morning until you fall asleep at night-then you realize the immense influence that technological advancements in this area have had on our lives. Prior to the existence of modern simulation tools such as the one you are about to try now, advanced electromagnetic design work required the use of tedious and often approximatc analytical mcthods. Lct's kecp this in mind whilc sitting down and enjoying this ride through some examples from the area of electromagnetic design using the AC/DC Module.

This document contains four examples that you can build from scratch. Feel free to create the models in any order because there is not enough time in this session tocomplete them all. All the models have their geometry prcbuilt in a CAD file
