设计了一种用于自适应开启时间(adaptive on-time,AOT)Buck型DC-DC变换器的定时器电路,采用了输入电压前馈补偿和输出反馈技术,使开关频率不随输入、输出电压变化,实现了固定频率的伪脉冲宽度调制。基于0.18μm BCD工艺进行电路设计,并使用Hspice仿真验证。仿真结果表明当输入电压从5~18 V,相同输出电压下开关频率变化不超过10 k Hz,不同的输出电压下系统开关频率变化不超过20 k Hz。同时,由于定时器中采用输入电压前馈技术,提高了输入线性瞬态响应速度。

A timer circuit for adaptive on-time(AOT) Buck converter was designed. Input voltage feedforward and output voltage feedback technology were utilized to realize the fixed-frequency pseudo pulse width modulation, that means the switch frequency would not change with the input nor output voltage. Based on 0.18 μm BCD technology, the proposed circuit was designed and simulated in Hspice. The simulation results indicate that the variation of system frequency is less than 10 k Hz at the same output voltage and less than 20 k Hz at different output voltages when the input voltage changed from 5 V to 18 V.
