硬质NB涂层在印制电路板微钻上的应用

通过物理气相沉积方法,在PCB微钻上沉积硬质NB涂层,采用纳米压痕/划痕仪、摩擦磨损试验机、扫描电镜等仪器对涂层的形貌、硬度和结合强度等性能进行研究,并对硬质NB涂层微钻与无涂层微钻进行对比加工测试。实验结果表明,硬质NB涂层硬度为35GPa,涂层摩擦系数低至0.3,与基体之间的结合表现优异;在本实验中使用硬质NB涂层钻头在钻孔S1141板材时,叠板数是未涂层钻头的1.33倍,使用寿命是未涂层钻头的2.67倍,且加工孔质量优异。

The hard NB coating is deposited on cemented carbide micro-drills for printed circuit boards by physical vapor deposition.The Nano indenter and Nano scratch tester,tribometer and Scanning Electron Microscope are employed to characterize the properties of the coating such as the morphology,hardness and the adhesion between the hard NB coating and the substrate.And a comparative drilling test between NB coated drills and uncoated drills has been done.The results show that the hardness of the hard NB coating is 35 GPa,the coating friction coefficient is as low as 0.3,and the bonding performance with the substrate is excellent.It is also found that when the hard NB coated drills drill the S1141 board,the number of stacked sheets is the 1.33 times of the uncoated drill,the hole quality is excellent,and the service life is 2.67 times than the uncoated drills.
