Estimating the charging status of lithium batteries is the basis of Battery Management System(BMS).The accuracy of the estimation is beneficial to the battery management and power balance,and is related to the charging and discharging control of batteries and the optimal management of electric s paper introduces the definition of SOC,summarizes the current battery equivalent circuit models and methods of SOC estimation for lithium batteries,introduces their respective principles,analyses the strengths and weaknesses of these methods,and summarizes the development trends of SOC estimation in the future.
