The measurement system on atmospheric electric field and its EMC problems are introduced were analyzed. The compatibility and reliability could be enhanced by means of improving PCB layout, grounding, providing high-frequency return path, shielding, and mounting devices for ESD and lightning. Finally, the EMC and anti-lightning performances of the system were proved to adapt the severe operating environment of the system.
